
The clinical faculty consists of five board certified radiation oncologists with varied interests and backgrounds. Each is engaged in
teaching, clinical care and research.
The Division of Physics includes four Ph.D. physicists’ and one engineer. The physicists provide for teaching and consultations on clinical
care. The Division of Physics is engaged in developing medical treatment techniques utilizing ExacTrac positioning, respiratory gating, and
IMRT. Other areas of clinical research involve stereotactic radiosurgery using BrainLab 3-D conformal treatment planning with a BrainLab
micro-multi-leaf collimator and novel dosimetry methods for HDR MammoSite treatments.
The Division of Radiobiology has one M.D./Scientist who is working on experimental anti-cancer vaccines and other translational research. This
research division will provide opportunities for residents interested in fundamental research.
