General Benefits: Malpractice Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Resident compensation are standard for all MUSC residents and can be viewed at MUSC Graduate Medical Education Office

Vacation: Three weeks of vacation are given to residents per twelve-month period excluding holidays, conferences, and meetings.

National Conferences: Each resident is entitled to one national conference each year.

On Call: Residents are responsible for coverage on nights and weekends on a rotating basis. This generally means taking call coverage approximately one week per month from home.

Stipend: Residents receive $1000 per year for use in textbook purchases, annual meeting attendance, or other related educational expenses.
